The Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst with an engineering focusto join our UK-based team. This role is pivotal in supporting the development and transition of data models and pipelines for our US Navigator product. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality control in these processes, while collaborating with senior stakeholders. You should have a methodical, committed approach to your work, able to meet short-term deadlines while contributing to long-term business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust data architecture and pipelines.
  • Ensure the integrity and efficiency of data flow within our US data offering.
  • Transition models from existing Excel based solutions and maintain/update these models within a SQL Server/Databricks environment.
  • Generate insightful QC and analytical feedback to aid in operational decision-making as well as product development and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with a senior data scientist, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to collect and store data from various sources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data infrastructure and processes.
  • Stay informed of emerging data engineering technologies and best practices to ensure the team remains at the cutting edge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Statistics / AI / Computer science / Civil Engineering qualifications or significant equivalent professional experience
  • 3 years of data analytics and engineering experience. An understanding of data modelling techniques and knowledge of the CPG industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in SQL, and advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Data Quality Assurance and Monitoring.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills alongside with analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions and processes.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently as required.
  • Proven success in delivering to agreed timelines and ability to work under tight deadline pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English.
